Well, you do get the fireworks show, the Christmas shows around the park, the dance parties if you have kids, all the characters are dressed in their Christmas outfits, and they re-light Main Street and throw in snow, and if you don't use a day on your MYW ticket, you can still be in MK for 8 or 9 hours included in the cost of the event, and knowing that you're there with all the other guests just to celebrate Christmas. Disney style. Not that I'm defending it, or anything like that...
