As some of you may remember, my little granddaughter Molly was
diagnosed at 4 months of age of with severe bilateral hip dysplasia.
I had asked for and received lots of pixie dust for my little
mouseketeer because she had to undergo surgery and be in a body cast
for 10 weeks and then a smaller little brace. I'm happy to report
that Molly only needs to wear the brace at naptime and bedtime and she
can be out of it for her waking hours! She's still not walking but is
talking up a storm. She isn't crawling either but she may skip that
altogether. She has been sitting up by herself for a few weeks, and
she can scooch herself around on her heiney. She loves Elbo (Elmo),
her teddy, and her "guys" (Pooh and his pals on her mobile over her
crib). We are planning a Disney trip in December 2010 to introduce
Molly to Mickey and Minnie. It will be right before her 2nd birthday
and I can't wait to see her face as she sees Disneyworld for the first
time! Thank you all again for all the pixie dust. It paid off like
crazy!!!
