And I thought it was only me who thought that it looked like a scene
from the Flintstones! once saw a little kid wrestling with a leg that
was almost as big as her head!

Or an indistinguishable animal - like a hot dog ;-)

Since Feb of 2009, these have become a favorite treat for us too. The
bratwurst is really good, the kraut isn't too sour or bitter, and
those buns are fresh and soft (so much so that they stick to your
teeth). Yum yum yum. And you're right, the beer absolutely hits the
spot with this!

We'll eat at the Commissary if absolutely necessary. In fact, we
probably eat there at least once a year. But we stick to simple -
breakfast is the same at nearly every counter service / food court on
property (scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuit) and lunch/dinner we get
whatever chicken sandwich or salad they're offering. One advantage to
the Commissary - it's rarely crowded!
Ain't saying the food there is great, but it's better than some (of
course, we eat at odd hours anyway),

The food was atrocious. Pricing doesn't bother us if the seafood is
good. We LOVE seafood (rarely eat steak which puts us in a minority
when discussing dining at WDW). The decor and atmosphere are great -
just wish the food was better.

We haven't tried bluezoo yet (maybe for my birthday in April) - Wall-E
and I really like simple preparation for our seafood - let the fish
shine through - if it's crappy fish, don't serve it; if it's good
fish, treat it well.

Too often, it seems that chefs at WDW (and elsewhere) want to cover up
the flavor of food with too many competing sensations in sauces and
accompaniments. Also, another gripe, when an entree comes with a
vegetable, I'd love to have a serving of vegetables, not a tablespoon
-- and give me some green or yellow or red vegetables, potatoes and
corn are starches not vegetables.

Rant over,
blossom
