The weather in vegas is not right for potatos. You need mild days...65-80
degrees and cool nights.....45-60 degrees. That's why Maine is a leading
potato producer.

Another avler mentioned this to me and no I don't.

I'm not sure what the point of it is other than to help NV Energy.
Perhaps I'm not getting it but the "pay off" appears to be a new
thermostat and a maximum $30 credit? Why bother? I've got decent
thermostat and the $30 doesn't mean a lot to me.

Of course I could be entirely wrong but NVE's site is not at all clear
on what the program offers -- well, beyond their being able to hold
their grid up easier in heavy use periods.
