I think the folks that go there to sell their sh*t know they're not
going to get as good a deal as they could on Ebay but just want to get
on the show.


I don't agree. There's lots of folks out there that need the CASH and
need it now. As for Ebay, I do a nice little ebay commission business for
people that can't/won't/don't know how to do Ebay.

what are your margins on a business like that. I have looked at a few
EBay stores and margins seem very low.

I completely agree with what you're sayin' about people that use
pawn shops needing/wanting cash ASAP. That's why it doesn't make
sense that those people would wait in a long line for Gold & Silver
pawn when there are so many other pawn shops in Vegas that DON'T have
long lines.

Funny how the lines disappear when the sun goes down. <g> That's the time to
go, although the "Stars" probably will be gone as well. Morning might be a good
time to catch them, before the lines develop.

The lines I've seen weren't all THAT long, anyway. It's not like the restroom
line near the Circus buffet.
