OK, I can run with that. But, how will anyone ever be able to quote
or link to an article ever again?? I don't think anyone will ever be
able to. Maybe they feel that this will assist in slowing the gradual
and inevitable decline in sales??

I dunno, this is way out of what I am accustomed to dealing with.
It'll be fun to see what happens.

absolutely! and me thinks that Mr' Righthaven is in so far over his head
that he'll be a joy to watch when "it" hits the fan.

as far as the RJ goes I just wouldn't --- a) because you're helping them
with its and b) because it's not worth exposure to capricious
litigation. (keep that term in mind for the future with this situation).

you'll note that the Sun handles this entirely differently and at the
bottom of all their stories they have a list "who's linking here". but
then again they know how the internet works (reciprocity).

Sounds about right.

While my articles are frequently quoted on company websites and in their
sales literature, I am almost always asked to OK the usage.

One of the few times anyone tried to pass my writing off as their own
was right here, many years ago - ironically enough - by a person who is
firmly in my killfile.
