From: Ronald Emerson on 11 Mar 2007 05:52 I saw a church that had a marquee that said " sign broken, come inside". Last week my boss had me put a new message on our marquee that said " New BK Breakfast vale menu." I need to put up " Ronald Emerson Deserves a $10 an hour raise"! Ronald Emerson

From: Don Strevel on 12 Mar 2007 00:23 Correct, the Globe has been gone for a long time. It would seem that it has been gone no more than 5 or 6 years?? From: Don Strevel on 12 Mar 2007 00:29 The signs are getting more conservative to me as well. A topless show was all the rage and as risque(?). Perhaps it is us that have become more comfortable with what goes on here. :) -- www.mysecretvegas.com, email from the contact button Don Strevel, Box-777, Las Vegas, NV. 89125 USA "CLM in ND" <camarvel8(a)hotmail.com> wrote in message news:1173546944.534128.250670(a)j27g2000cwj.googlegroups.com... > > Burt Cohen wrote: > >> Don, >> >> The globe that was on the International and subsequent LVH sign has been >> gone fore many, many years. >> >> -Burt >> > Is it me, or are the signs & marquees getting more lame? From: Don Strevel on 12 Mar 2007 00:31 The old Stardust low riser rooms have been torn out. Everything that was seen from the winding sidewalk out front has been removed, and only the older and smaller 10 or so floor old tower stands by itself. The larger tower is still in skeleton form. Soon, even those will be razed. Sad. -- www.mysecretvegas.com, email from the contact button Don Strevel, Box-777, Las Vegas, NV. 89125 USA "Uncle Peter" <radioconnection(a)cox.net> wrote in message news:QZBIh.975$Ng1.59(a)newsfe19.lga... > > "CLM in ND" <camarvel8(a)hotmail.com> wrote in message > news:1173546944.534128.250670(a)j27g2000cwj.googlegroups.com... >> >> > Is it me, or are the signs & marquees getting more lame?
