What 'politically correct' decisions have the 'Council types' made in this
case?
It seems that primarily commercial decisions have been made.

'Politically correct' in the UK means that the person using the term doesn't
agree with the policies of someone who is further to the left than they are.

So for a Tory all decisions by a Labour council can be described as
'Politically correct'.

It's a term of abuse...
