Weird is good.

Covenants are evil. A friend of mine says they make mini-dictatorships
out of otherwise trustworthy Amerikans - er - Americans.

Again, that is what the Queen's Pirates are for.

Ha. It's not only the park, it's airports, railroads, expressways...
All in existence before the housing developments, yet the people
complain about the noise, much of which is abated with taxpayer
dollars. But I digress.

But this development is quite a distance from both MK and Epcot, and
it's not to far from other developments that haven't complained yet.
Heck, if I lived there, I'd want a clear view of both Epcot and MK
from the top floor of the place...

Now I wanna know what happens when that sinkhole opens up.

WDW failed that when they built All Stars. HAhahahaha... (Okay,
maybe not always tacky, but garish...)

Well, count me in as wanting to be in the idle rich category. How
come I didn't have any wealthy uncles?

If I could find a way that with minimal effort I could get people to
throw money at me, there's a pretty good chance I'd do it.

I'm sure people are beating at their door right now. I think there's
a demand for this, 7 figure prices or not. Golden Oak looks like it's
in the Northeast corner of the property, no place close to
anything except the golf courses. They're building it slowly, so
if demand goes away, they just don't build. Now, I'd be complaining
if they put it where I think the 5th gate should be... ;-)

Depending on what the rules for Golden Oak is, I can see a lot of
corporations buying these. Think sport stadium skybox type perks.
Maybe contest winners. Maybe Disney can zone the property
between private and corporate owners...

(I still haven't gotten any donations for the $25K to be put on the
list...)

Did you really look around at RADP 13? I need to fix your sentence:

The way I look at it, if you want weird, then buy into a neighborhood
that's already weird. Our neighborhood is very uniform - sidewalks with
rear garages on alleyways, and the houses are one of about a dozen
different floor plans, but all with nearly identical external features.
We aren't zero lot line, but we're close. So, I really don't see
anyone who would want to live here unless this is what they want. I
mean, why move into such a uniform, planned neighborhood if you want
"weird"?
