That is correct. The land was de-annexed from RCID, so the residents will
not have a vote within the District.

Also, there are residents in both the cities of Bay Lake and Lake Buena
Vista. The Bay Lake residents reside on Bay Court of of Reams Road just
north of Bay Lake itself. Residents of Lake Buena Vista live on Royal Oak
Court off of Buena Vista Drive, north of Saratoga Springs.

You can find both of these "neighborhoods" on Google Maps.

There is a middle class subdivision in my town that restricts the
color of Chritsmas lights that you can use. Many neighborhoods in my
own and surrounding towns do the same thing.

Yep, we used to live in a development that is now almost 30 years old
and it has strict covenants. They restrict house color, foliage, etc.
They even require the first ten feet of yard from the street to be
grass, with small exceptions for flowers and borders around mailboxes.
I guess we've nearly always lived in a covenant-restricted community and
have just gotten used to it. Most of the rules make sense and we enjoy
knowing that our neighbors aren't able to anything "weird".
