When I stayed at SSR, I remarked that it was a more opulent and grown-up version of CBR... Patty, you can read about my CBR stay on my site, but it was an... abnormal stay... Not sure if Janaica is considered "preferred" category. I was in Jamaica. If you're driving, you don't want a lake view, unless you have a man-servant carrying your luggage. Lake views are the farthest from the parking lot. Otherwise, lake views are okay, but there's a corridor between your window and the lake, making it less of a value than if you were at a deluxe, where a lake view is off your balcony... >The only thing I didn't like about CBR was the wretched food at the food >court. The only bad >thing I ever heard was they is it for overflow during Pop Warner. Jeez what a horrible flashback. What a jerkoff he was. CBR is one of the BEST resorts at WDW. Beautiful. Always updated. Pretty good food. Never had a complaint about the bus service. Central location. The island in the lake if scenic and fun to walk. Great security. I was there one time and a woman flipped backwards out of a motorized wheel chair and struck her head, while trying to navigate a small sidewalk ramp. I called 911 and rendered aid. Within 1 minute a speedboat showed up with 2 lifeguards and within 3 more minutes an EMS crew showed up. |
