Chuck does. He made it one and I pissed in it. .-- Big Mikey/The Masarsky Group "David Berman" <davidinlv(a)cox.net> wrote in message news:qEsqi.13226$RW.8456(a)newsfe13.phx... >By the way, Donald Trump, Warren Buffet and Carl Ichan all cuss like sailors. Not in public forums. The challenge in communicating aggressively with others, disagreeing with them, arguing with them, etc., is to find the right words to get the point across without a constant stream of obscenities. Using such language in "normal" conversation, rather than just occasionally for effect as many do on AVLV, says far more about the speaker than it does about his targets. Here's a little something from a popular website. Not that I think it will have much effect on you: In many English-speaking communities, expletives also carry connotations of lower classes and lower economic standing. Although people from every economic level use swearwords, many people associate their use with people of lower income and education. --David/NV

I have. I've even been to the Club Med you don't have a reservation for and won't be visiting. I was there when it was almost exclusively a couples and singles resort, unlike its current Disney-Cruise-ship-gone-berserk incarnation. So I have a question for you on your choice of fantasy resort. With all of the Club Meds in the world, and all of the resorts in the Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo area, why would you choose one of the few Club Meds that caters exclusively to families with young children? In fact, the Club Med in Ixtapa is by far the most child friendly resort in the entire area, probably all of Mexico. It was recently physically remodeled and all the programs restructured specifically FOR families with young children. You have no young children, and yet have agreed to pay a premium above all the other Club Meds and all the other area resorts just to receive the wonderful child benefits that are available only at this resort. You're willing to pay MORE for THESE bennies???? "Your cost includes the Club Med Baby Welcome Package: Everything for your baby's comfort: high quality baby equipment and suitable food for babies up to 23 months." Will you be partaking of the Petit Club, which is described as: "Children 2-3 years old will gain new friends and experiences at the Petit Club Med, which has a 1 to 6 staff to child ratio. Games, songs, art programs, nap time and sports create a fun and educational schedule at the Petit Club Med." Or is the Mini Club program more your speed: "From 4 to 10 years, children want to do it all. Mini Club Med has thought of everything to satisfy their endless thirst for discovery." Or maybe this is what you fantasize about: "At Juniors'Club Med, over 11 year-olds can get together, take part in the activities they want, have a good time and make their own contribution to life in the Village." This Club Med is one of the few left that has the circus school as well, in which children learn to use trapezes and other circus apparatus. Then there's the child educational program: "Club Med Ixtapa's educational programs for children allow them to learn about local endangered sea turtles and baby crocodiles-and even see them during certain seasons". And of course two of the three restaurants are designed specifically for children; one of them was even designed for infants and toddlers. With child friendly menus in both. As in: you have one adult oriented resturant in the entire resort, and children are allowed in that one too. Of course you're aware that unlike almost every other resort in Ixtapa, you can't walk down the road from Club Med to another hotel or regular restaurant due to the hill, distance, and dangerous road with no place for pedestrians. You'll have to cab it. So again I ask: wouldn't you rather stay in a normal resort that caters to all comers, from oldsters to families, or maybe even a resort that caters strictly to adult singles and couples as Club Med Ixtapa did when I stayed there? Instead you chose a resort that has been designed from top to bottom, from the physical plant to the club programs to the food and drink in the restaurants, specifically for families with small children. Do you really want to spend your days avoiding screaming brats? Wouldn't you rather stay at a place where a lonely adult can sit staring at a salad and not stick out like a 400 pound sore thumb and not have to listen to the Wiggles or look at Bugs Bunny during dinner? Do you really think that young couples and their small children are going to want to associate with you and your imaginary "woman"? But of course you already know all of this (having already made a reservation), and have chosen to spend a vacation surrounded by crying babies, harried young mothers laden down with backpacks and bottles and dirty diapers, bratty kids with painted faces scrambling over circus gear, young dads engaging in pool splash fights with their young sons, and with one place to eat that isn't painted and decorated in cartoon characters that specializes in kiddie food items. Its a shame you can't cancel that reservation without losing 2 nights cost. Monkey, if he responds, will claim that he's taking his nephews, who are adults. Then he will claim that they have small children. Small children which he JUST remembered and somehow managed to never mention on AVLV...... Nice try Monkey. Next time at least pretend its a Sandals.
