Mikey,

You have no money. You have no home. You can't even afford an
appartment. You have to be people to rent you a room for $500/month.
You have no wife, no kids, no girlfriend. No job. You are morbidly
obese. Face it, your life is pathetic.

And now you brag about the joy you get having people mock you. That's
what you do for fun - let people mock you.

Don't you think you should at least try to make your life better?

OK. Explanation accepted. I'm going to meet Mikey for lunch while in vegas and I'll come back and give my tr. I'll also say what I think about mikey and how the lunch came off.
Bantering back and forth with the people on this NG, is only part of the issue. You have to meet someone face to face to really find out what they are like.
Expect my mikey report about october 16th.

I agree David with some of your observations. Mikey got a little carried away and used language, which is offensive to many people and should have cooled it.
What I disagree with is your "broad brush" approach to people who associate with Mikey. How can you paint EVERYONE who associates with Mikey as being of "low class"?
Do you know EVERYONE, who meets with Mikey or works with Mikey?
I'm making plans to have lunch with the guy around october 9th or 10th in vegas. As I said before, I reserve my opinion of a person until I have a chance to meet them face to face. Does that make me low class, because I decide to have lunch with him? I might agree with everyone else about Mikey or I may like the guy, but at least please don't use "guilt by association" to define individuals.
I'll have lunch with anyone at least once.

FARMER JOHN

Let me clarify, John.

By "associate," I don't mean meeting a person for lunch. The impression you come away with, however, and your consequent decision on whether you want to have an ongoing association with him, might be a different thing.

I think when Andrew and I met Mikey, we were hoping he'd be a person who is easy to like. After all, we knew he was an individual who was taking on Chuck, and we thought that was a positive thing. But my opinion started to change after meeting him, and continued to change as I observed his AVLV "personality." I'd be surprised if Andrew felt any differently, but that would be for him to say.

Al was their cousin; played in the Pirates organization. Never made
it above AA.

I apologize to the good denizens of AVLV for even getting into it with this sick person named Masarsky.

I'm angry with myself for doing so, because I just didn't realize what a demented individual he is.

I'm glad to see it, myself.

Now that you're in the game its literally unanimous.

Monkey is the single most uniting thing (I say thing instead of person because he is more of a thing than a person) to ever hit AVLV. From Chuck to Berman, from OR to BR, you name it, its unanimous. Even people who despise each other all agree: Monkey is a vile, sick, mentally unstable nutwad of the highest order.

Fortunately he does make for an excellent pinata.
