Usually we leave bright and early in the morning, and get "almost" all the way there, before stopping for the night. But this time, I think we're actually going to try leaving from work the night before. Our ressies start on a Saturday, and we really want to get there at a decent hour on our first day. (Trying to get as much vacation as we can squeeze in, with only a Mon-Fri off work.) I haven't a clue where we'll stop that first night... something else I need to research. -- Kitty (TDC Bashful) remove "whiskers" to e-mail

We'll really have to check weather reports carefully before we leave. Yes, driving definitely gives us some more flexibility, though I'm not sure if "But there's a storm coming and we have leave NOW!!!" will fly with the boss. I'm willing to give it a try, though. :-) -- Kitty (TDC Bashful) remove "whiskers" to e-mail

For some reason, hubby just isn't drawn to sweet romances, or hunky vampire / werewolf stories, LOL. And the library is an excellent idea! -- Kitty (TDC Bashful) remove "whiskers" to e-mail

Reading Time from cover to cover out loud to Joe was surprisingly entertaining, and it passed quite a bit of time. ~Amanda
