Patty,
You may do better by booking in advance. Use www.mousesavers.com for the
codes.

I don't know where you're staying but, if you plan to be at Epcot, the
Dolphin is very convenient. You handle the rental inside at the desk but
the pickup and return are done via valet parking - very convenient.

Does Disney accept packages for guests? Order the stuff online
someplace (Amazon? From Walmart? I know I can get Sam's Club
deliveries to my house from their website) and ship it to the hotel.
Would probably be cheaper than shipping it yourself.

I don't know where you put the souvenirs on the trip home, though.

Of course, if it was me, I'd just put it in the back seat... ;-)

I believe they do. I have read of other guests sending stuff to be at
the resort when they arrive.

Walmart.. Amazon.. Costco. Great idea. Lisa

When we took our girls before they were 2, we had a rental so we could pick
up diapers. But we also used the car for other things. If you plan on
using it for off site trips, it's probably worth it to get a small car for a
few days. Otherwise, have it shipped to your hotel.

Can't wait to read the trip report!

Yup, Disney accepts packages for guests. Whenever friends of ours are going
to FL, my DH orders cigars online and has them shipped to their hotel. It's
much cheaper than getting them up here. And our friends don't smoke so they
have no problems coming across the border with a box of cigars.
