Vegas is a great place to live. It has a great culture and (IMHO) it is the best place in the world to raise kids! We have front rooms, yards to water, trash to take out, patios and so much more to do other than go stand outside the Luxor and get teared up. If others want to, please do and do so to your hearts content, really. It is your experience and I want you fully immersed in it, for your benefit. However, please know that I do not run around the house singing Dean Martin songs with tear in my eye for gambling, shows and buffets. The tourist is the most valuable thing in Vegas, barr none. They are to be made to have the best experience possible, even if you have to gin and bear it. If they have a reasonable request, do it with a smile and a tip of the hat. If they want something "differet", find out if it is legal and get it forthem, for a charge of course. Every frickin thing that happens from the polishing of sil verware, to the cooking of a roast must continue to be done with the enhancement of their experience in focus /mind. Just don't ask me togo with you. It is your experience...and i might meet some nine fingered person that remembers me, God bless the Vegas tourist, sincerly/ I just want to stay in my house and finish my milk and balogna sandwich : ) ..
