You know that 1988 $20 is worth something like $33 today. I have to
find it, but there's a site that will do this for you. It's where I
originally got my "1956 2 cents, corrected for inflation" comment.

I carry enough cash to cover Housekeeping tips, and other little incidentials -
but it's mainly a CC that's tied into my room key so I don't have to carry a
bunch of cards. I leave the cash at home to pay off the CC bill when it
arrives. I haven't used TC in years. Seems like the clerks don't know what to
do with them anymore.

I know what I DON'T have to do with them anymore. Sign each and every
one of them before I leave the bank.
