None of those things happened to me. Sorry you were put out. Don't go
to places like that, they're not for you.

There are entire food groups Disney doesn't seem to be able to do at
all. Chinese is one of them. I've had okay Chinese food at Nine
Dragons, but everywhere else it's a sort of mushy stew. Even the Lotus
Blossom can't turn out Chinese food that's up to the standards of a
shopping mall food court.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who was "meh" about SS. We weren't overly
impressed the couple times we were there. We're not picky eaters but most
of what we had was bland and tasteless. Of course I can't remember what it
was but I can remember we weren't impressed!

We've tried the rotisserie chicken, the chicken caesar salad, a ham and
salami sandwich, rice pilaf, glazed carrots, mashed potatoes, and the kid's
meal sweet & sour chicken, and we liked all of those.

Our favorites

grilled tuna salad (sushi grade tuna)
roasted beet salad
(yep, we tend to eat from the soup & salad stand)

mini pitas, hard boiled eggs, hummus, tabouleh
(refrigerator case - a weird breakfast for 2 weird people)

kid's breakfast with waffle sticks
