I wasn't put out, I was amused and astonished that Disney had put their name behind an experience of that low of a quality. And I will go again, because I'm always curious as to how different it could be from one visit to the next. ~Amanda

My wife agrees with me that our experience at PB's was no way as bad as yours. I hope your next visit is better.

I had the pork chop, and it was very good. Not dry at all. The brain cells that hold the information on what PiC ate are dormant, but I do remember that the food was worth eating again. >There are entire food groups Disney doesn't seem to be able to do at >all. Chinese is one of them. I've had okay Chinese food at Nine >Dragons, but everywhere else it's a sort of mushy stew. Even the Lotus >Blossom can't turn out Chinese food that's up to the standards of a >shopping mall food court. I think I've come to the conclusion that if the people in the kitchen are making more than [Chinese|Japanese] food, it's not that good. What they make is an American version of that dish. (There are exceptions... And any chain restaurant is McChinese. If you like it, it's okay. Sometimes, you just have to have something besides a burger.) And to tell the truth, the more you needed a translator to talk to the waitstaff and you don't hear english in the kitchen as you walk by to go to the bathroom, the better the food. Also, the Caesar is good as is the rotisserie chicken and salmon. I guess I like it because it's lighter fare than the usual fried burger stuff, but still filling and very nutritious. -- - RODNEY Next WDW Vacation? Who knows! I remember one time when we were arriving at the MK for EMH (or maybe it was E-ride night back then) and we were terribly hungry. Because it was the only place open, our "dining" at Pecos Bill took well over an hour, manly due to waiting 40 minutes in line to order. If Jan and Katie hadn't been insistent on eating something, I'd have just gone hungry. -- - RODNEY Next WDW Vacation? Who knows!
