If the "C" period means the third hour, are you saying that Disney
starts closing down attractions over the course of EMH so that by
the third hour, you can still do "plenty" of attractions, but not
as many as were open during the first hour?

That's an interesting approach! Has anyone else here tried it?
It sounds promising.

Sorry, between the Trekkie side of me with technobabble and the Disney
side of me with.. mouseobabble [?], I sometimes forget to provide my
own glossary. :)

The A, B and C periods [I think there's only the 3] describe different
times of the calendar year, changing depending on expected attendance
trends. "A" applies to the highest attendance periods, down to "C"
with the lowest times. A night in the "B" time of year would have
fewer attractions open for EMH than an "A" time, but more than a "C"
time would.

But on a given night, the intended plan is that everything that is to
be open stays open for all 3 hours. Having never attended an EMH, I
can't speak to whether this condition has ever been broken. But the
idea is that if you can do it at the beginning of an EMH, you can do
it in the final hour of that same night.

Ah, thanks, that makes sense. In the case of evening EMH, are there
also variations in what's open depending on whether it's still light
during EMH? E.g., when I went to evening EMH at DAK in January,
Kilimanjaro Safaris and the trails weren't open. But perhaps in
July, they would be?

That's what I thought, but got confused before and thought that
your A, B, and C referred to the three hours of a single event.
Thanks for straightening that out.

I don't have any real info on AK's implementation, so I can only
guess. Obviously there would be daylight at later hours in July
compared to January. Though the regular public hours of AK itself
would also be later in July than in January. Not visiting that park
all that often, I'm not as in-tune with their hours off the top of my
head. It is possible that the later public hours would still eat up
enough daylight that KS and the trails would be closed for a summer
EMH. Then again, there might still be enough daylight time to go ahead
with it.

I can't think of anything else offhand that would be an EMH activity
at the other 3 parks, and would also be dependent on light/no light.
