Usually it will be a whole line of vehicles.

Keane, Rodney-
We just returned from a 3 week trip. 5 of us, 1 van, about 5K miles.
We too like the side trips and being able to bring what we want. IF
we (5) flew from fll to alb, rented a van or suv, still bought gas,
paid for lugage and cary-ons, it would have cost us a fortune. As it
were, we stayed at hotels that had free breakfast (sometimes not even
worth it though!) and had one reservation in Boston that included
breakfast in the room-rate (otherwise $16per). Brought bread, sandwich
meat, drinks and snacks for lunch and really only paid for dinners.

Our itinerary consisted of driving from s. fl to boston for 2 nights,
then drop one son at camp on cape cod, then to schenectady, ny.. Many
short trips while there, back to cape cod to pickup son, back to ny so
he could have time with grandma, grandpa, aunts, uncles, cousins, then
back to fl.

What does this have to do with WDW? Well, even though I wanted to go,
wife nixed the idea (this time). We did get within 47 milres as the
gps plots!
