NYC is the only other town with officers totting automatic weapons on
the streets today, the NYPD swat unit trolling for terrorists.

Some tourists might drive out to NASA for the day and come back after,
taking FL-50
to avoid the tolls and check out the "night-life" in downtown, which
is quite active apparently...JG

It is Not the group but one person that feels it is his duty. Why only
Orlando I do not know. I have yet to see a posting about any of the
other parks host cities. Often posting of events 30 or 40 miles away
from the Disney area and claiming it to be relevant to Disney.

The good guys can't get a break:

"Orange County sheriff's deputies said someone stole one of the
office's bait cars Friday at the Grand Point Apartment Complex on
Honour Road.
The car was equipped with satellite surveillance, so deputies were
able to track down the car and eventually arrest the suspect, 20-year-
old Jonathan Mercado.
The sheriff's office said he does not have a driver's license, only a
Florida identification card, and according to the arrest report,
Mercado told the arresting officer that he was already out on bond for
a possession of cocaine charge."

I got to watch them chase down some guy at that RER station (for those of
you who don't know it's spitting distance from the front gates).

They roughed him up pretty good when they got him, guess he didn't have a
Disney day after all.
