Yes, I agree that the US (and other countries) kept the country divided
rather then letting Communists, backed by Russia, China, and others,
from taking over South Korea.

It is also your opinion the US (and other allies) should take the
"blame" for Germany being separated after WW2, when we should have just
let the Soviet Union control all of Germany?
