I haven't used the hell hole that is Heathrow for two years now.

Air-side checks got a lot worse after the 'underpants bomber' didn't
quite blow himself up.

Many people, including myself, will no longer fly via Heathrow, and
take the financial penalty.

The reason is that the place is a hell hole. It is manned by rude
thieves who can't even keep the place clean.

The last time I tried you couldn't buy a direct flight from Manchester
to Goa unless you also bought a holiday there as well...

I have 'right of residence' in India, my wife is Indian.

There should be no problem, but I can't find where they sell the tickets.

All I ever get offered is tickets on charter flights for holidays.
