I know Cedar Point has its fans, but I'm with you. We live in Ohio,
less than 2 hours from Cedar Point. We've been ONCE. How many times
have we been to WDW? A lot. :-)

At least in JC's queue you have the interesting monologue going on in
the background. It's somewhat entertaining if you listen to what's
being said.

I think that's because of the immediate presence of a large body of
water which lends itself to a higher humidity in the vicinity. That's
one of the reasons I haven't gone to Sea World in over 20 years.

Any ride that has you climbing steep stairs.

For me, it would be the bumper cars at Six Flags St Louis.

You go in the front hall, turn left and go to the back, u-turn left and
go back to front, u-turn right and go to back, left and up inclined ramp
to staging box. All halls from front hallway to incline ramp are yellow
painted cinder block walls on both sides, dingy and covered with
obnoxious and vulgar graffiti that 6F only paints over once a year.
Can't see anything until almost at the top of the inclined ramp, and
they take about 15-20 people per 3-5 minute cycle (depending on how fast
last group exits and next group gets seat belts on right). Last summer,
our wait was about 50 minutes. No fans, no music, no vid screens. No
wonder there is so much graffiti.

Amen. Especially the part farthest from the entrance. They seem to
have found a way to run it through 6th dimensional space so that it's
10 times as long as it looks.

Precisely speaking the one for Canada isn't a queue. It's a mob. The
same thing applies to Country Bears, VotLM, Muppets 4D and several
others of that ilk. And, IMO, those are much worse than queues. At
least queues maintain some order regarding who came in when. In these
mobs you find people slowly pushing their way through the crowd
towards the door and other rude behavior.

Then there's the fact that I have trouble standing upright, shuffling,
in a constantly morphing landscape at my age.
