I don't so much mind the sardine feeling because I enjoy all the theming, but I can see how it could bother some people. -- - RODNEY Next WDW Vacation? Who knows! From: BigBob on 30 Jul 2010 13:01 I kind of enjoy the BTMRR queue! But, I find myself agreeing with Paul, twice in one thread, on these two. Oh, the humanity! --------------------------------- Paul Lalli: I don't think this will be a popular answer, but: Peter Pan's Flight. It just keeps going. Every time you think you're about to make the turn around and head back to the attraction, you turn a corner to discover that, nope you're still walking away from it! Plus the total lack of theming doesn't help. Paul Lalli How about Fantasmic? Just a great big long path that they herd you like cattle through, one section at a time, as the mass of humanity builds up on Sunset. We were there last Thursday, and the line for the 2nd show was 10 people wide and extended ALLLLLL the way from the Fantasmic entrance down Sunset to Hollywood. It was insane. Paul Lalli --------------------------------- As I (BigBob) posted, in another thread, regarding Fantasmic: BTW, I was in DHS last night (Tue. 7/13/10). They had two showings of Fantasmic, at 9 and 10:30 (park closing 10 PM). I did RnR from 8:25 to 9:25 (that's entering the single-rider lane to exiting the attraction). At 9:25 PM, the line for the 10:30 PM show stretched the *entire* length of Sunset Boulevard, all the way back to Hollywood Boulevard. And, I don't mean just a "line." One entire lane (i.e. from the white stripe down the center of the street to the sidewalk) was filled completely. We're talking sardine can -- please move all the way to the front filling-in each and every available space -- kind of full. I'm guessing an average of eight people wide, all the way down the street. If there is a God, one only hopes that the CMs have some real idea of where cut-off capacity actually is in a line of this type. (Not to mention the people that will be cutting in line, after the one member of their party actually standing in line makes the cell-phone call summoning them.)

From: Brad Bishop on 4 Aug 2010 14:05 Big Thunder is pretty horrible - I think my top crappy queue line. I avoid this ride if there's any sort of wait at all specifically because of the queue. Rock N Roller Coaster isn't so great. Fantasmic doesn't bother me as it's shaded (if you get in that first huge walkway section) and I'm not sure what else you could do with it.

We went there before WDW and there was a big difference. We stayed in Saratoga Springs and would have hoped that maybe we could at least have gotten more Fast Passes than someone who stayed off property. |
