LOL. My house too but referring to WDW it takes on the other meaning!

Sounds like the OP has more than a couple of options. Book the hotel
for an extra day and just keep stuff in the room till it's time to
head for the airport. Yes, they are paying for a night they aren't
going to be sleeping at the resort. Another option is to change the
flight time to an earlier one. Book the room for an extra day, stay
an extra day, book a flight that next day for an earlier time. If the
mountain won't go to Mohammed....

Almost all of the Disney pool areas have shower and changing facilities next
to them, where you can shower, wash up and get changed into fresh clothing.
I know some are more equipped than others, though.
The one at Sports was rather basic when I used that restroom on my trip in
September, and the one at Pop Century was a little better laid out.
But I was pleasantly surprised by the one at Animal Kingdom Lodge... I had a
change of clothes in my backpack and wanted to do a quick change before
meeting friends for dinner at Boma. All I really needed was a handicap stall
to change in, but found that they had very nice and spacious private shower
and changing areas, with plenty of clothing hooks. (No, I didn't shower,
just used the changing space)

I was going to mention this. The facilities at CB are quite nice in this
regard.

Are there hair dryers available, or at least those hand things high
enough up on the wall you can get your head under them?
