Prev: A visit from OZ ... Day 9 ... not finished yet!
Next: In Six Sleeps we are going to DisneyWorld!!
From: theyankeesnapper on 24 Apr 2010 09:16 We're planning a trip to WDW in May and I'm dissapointed with Disney's lack of flexibility regarding late check out. The max they will officially give you is till 1:00pm, but we're not flying out until 9:00pm. Some hotels will give you until 4:pm for a nominal fee, Disney wants another day's rate. I just may move over to The Hilton or Westin. What stories does anyone have regarding Late Check Out. Bob

Pack up and then spend a casual morning and early afternoon in the park (since our passes/meal plans don't expire until Midnight the day of check out). If you have a rental, that may work for you too. -- Not 'THAT' Ed TDC Royal Inspector of the Pork Loins, Guardian of the Rub and Taste Tester for Boma

Check out of the hotel, drop your bags at luggage services, and go enjoy your final day at the parks. A couple hours before your flight, come back to the hotel, grab your bags, and head to the airport. Paul Lalli
From: Glo in Miami on 24 Apr 2010 09:26 I was going to say the same think as Paul. Even though you have checked out of your room, you don't have to sit in the lobby the rest of the day. Bell Services will hold your luggage for you and your pool privileges, etc. are good until midnight ...and even though you might not have your private room to change out of your bathing suits, there are plenty of rest rooms where you can change into your traveling clothes later in the day. You could go to the parks, Downtown Disney, even a water park or play miniature golf, all the while knowing that your luggage is safe with bell services at your resort. No problem at all.
