But that's "only" 3:00 am according to your now reset WDW clock. Back when American ran the "Nerd Bird" I (and in excess of the plane's capacity) would leave at 4:30 pm and be picking up my bags at about 9:45 pm. I haven't seen what Alaska has for a schedule. (the evening Bird was always so over booked that American would start at $400 vouchers and an upgrade to 1st class. Usually had to go to $600 and two upgrades PLUS the upgrade for the next flight out) > >People who live only a couple hours' flight time from Orlando could >certainly stay later in the day. Coincidence? I think not.
From: LLCoolG on 6 May 2010 22:43 Could you use Disney Magic and take a taxi to the airport later? Would they take just your luggage?

That's a lot of > rooms. Our major checkout day is Sunday (I've seen it 90%+ on a Sunday), although we can see anywhere from 30% of the rooms on up turned over from June thru October. I can't tell you the number of maids because I don't really know being on the graveyard shift, plus they bring in some seasonal workers. I've had people tell me they're "owed" a 4PM checkout and just tell them to take it up with the manager. They didn't get it. I've also had people leave at midnight who paid for a full night's stay. A few times I cut the rate in half just to be nice because we weren't filled anyway. But when you're holding a up a room than can be or is sold, you're going to get charged, whether it's at Disney or elsewhere. -- Toodles, Patti ºoº http://www.myspace.com/pattinh http://www.facebook.com/PattiNH You must have faith that the universe will unfold as it should.... I can't specifically say yea or nay, but I seem to remember that this again is a case of accounting bags to people.
