Another one here.
And no TV too.

Years ago I used to spend much of the summer camping in Europe with a small
tent.

I remember taking, at various times, a satellite dish/receiver/remote,
portable CRT TV, mobile phone, modem and laptop computer. And often there
might be a video camera, music keyboard (and headphones), radio and lamps.
(This was before digital cameras, GPS and all those other gadgets.)

Plus all the leads, cables, adaptors, extensions, inverters etc for running
that lot from 220V on the campsite or from the car 12V socket.

And at that time using internet on the move cost 1 a minute (and connecting
could take several attempts, each costing 1), with a speed of 9.6K,
although it usually achieved half of that.

A small tent and a HUGE car!

Ah, the good old days. When the web was so slow you could follow the path
of your request across the world in the status-bar of Webcrawler.

Actually it was a small car but it was well-packed (as I had a bike too). No
room for any passengers though.
