There are 280 million docile, meek robots between Canada and Mexico
waiting on your command. Why don't you come over and rule us?

Teaching kids discipline is not alienating them; it's aquatinting them
with what it's like to share the planet with others.

Which is precisely why they should be taught discipline! It builds
character. Indulging them is ultimately not beneficial. It just
perpetuates the 'sissification' of our society.

When I was young and didn't behave, I got a whack on the bottom, or a
crack across the knuckles. And guess what; I wasn't emotionally
injured.. it didn't damage my self esteem... I wasn't scared for life,
or any of the other drivel these yuppie parents extol, I just shut my
mouth and behaved when I was told to.

Not a lot to ask, really...

You mean like teaching them not to say "Bye bye plane"?

Banty (can't have them saying "bye bye plane" - what's the world coming to??)
