I started slowly. My knees are better than they were but still a problem. At least I don't need to wear knee braces all the time like I used to.

I had to take them one at a time, always bringing the back foot down to the same step as the front foot. Dropping only 30 pounds has alleviated much of that problem. But I still can't break out into a run. Maybe another 30 pounds? I used to do about 40 minutes of mall walking a day but lunch hours have become difficult to get out of late. -- Lilith

I doubt that I'll ever be able run but i don't have much desire to do that. I do walk fairly fast. |
