Could I get you to talk to my roommate so it's not just me telling him
he'll need to wake up at 8:00 AM and be there when the gates open?

Going during the fall makes lines a bit shorter but I did stay in line
about an hour and a half for Nemo at DL a few years back since it
would be my only chance to for a long time. Not too terribly bad a
wait in the evening hours but it was ruined by the group of six in
front of me that grew to about eighteen with all the phone invites and
line cutting.

When you're a regular visitor (which I'm not) skipping an attraction
doesn't seem as much of a loss.

I'm not sure if I've ever waited 2 hours for a ride at WDW, even back
before I knew the best strategies for avoiding long lines. I remember
waiting a long, long time to ride the old Imagination ride, in 1983. The
line extended well outside the building, I'd say at least halfway to the
Land pavilion. And I've probably waited an hour to ride Space Mountain.

That's probably about my limit too, and I think it would have to be under
special circumstances. Otherwise we normally just move on to something
else and hope for a shorter line later.

But looking at the wait times posted on Lines reminds me why we never visit
WDW in July. :-)

Lilith, if it would work SURE... My biggest argument -- you can get
more done if you get up and get moving, more rides, less stress, thus
more time for lounging at the pool bar in the early afternoon -- the
parks just get SO crowded around lunchtime & it doesn't seem to let up
until dinner time (there aren't any real slow times these days - WDW
just give away food to make sure there aren't any slow periods)
