If you're over 6' 3" or under 48" you can't ride. From there, it's based on your body's shape. Pete Werner admits to 5' 11" and 230 lbs and he could not ride. The comment that got me was that they were pulling people out of line to have them sit in the sample vehicle to determine if they could ride. I can only imagine the embarassment and problems with that system. They told the story of one man being refused a ride and he insisted he rode it twice yesterday.
From: jenny on 22 Jul 2010 12:02 Re: WWoHP Pooh Size friend Cathy went two weeks ago and she echoes what is being said here. There was a HUGE line JUST to get in to the area. She said they would "click" using their counters 100 people out, then allow 100 more in. She could not fit into the cars for more than one attraction. As least she had learned to ask up front to try out the car. She and friend went ahead and walked through the castle just so Cathy could see it, but in front of them were full sized guys who did not know about the car to try to squish into outside. She said they were most unhappy to have waited all that time only to find they could not fit. Re: WDW, 2x I ahve waited an hour--TSM and Soarin. Otherwise 45 minutes is my upper limit. This is teh big reason I don't like Fnatasmic, an hour wai to get in, then even more waiting on uncomfortable bleachers.

I remember being at WDW (which was just the MK at the time) the first summer that Space Mt. opened. We waited in line, outside, in the hot sun for what seemed like forever and we finally came upon a sign that said "You are now 90 minutes from the attraction." -- - RODNEY Next WDW Vacation? I know that 5'11' 230 is "overweight", but that doesn't seem to be so far outside of average that he wouldn't fit into an attraction seat. It seems like a pretty major engineer blunder (or cost cutting to the extreme). -- - RODNEY Next WDW Vacation? Who knows! If I'm going to wait 2 hours for something, the payoff has to be huge. I usually won't wait more than 20 minutes, Toy Story, Fireworks and parades excepted.
