Yes, but when you completely cross Alabama from Mississippi, you get
kidnapped by aliens for an hour.

Come on, Rodney! You're overlooking the obvious!

I know in the "good old days", back before WDTC came about, the old
reservation system did not allow changes. Any change resulted in a new
reservation and you'd get two yellow sheets - one showing the
cancellation and one with the new reservation. The CSR would actually
have to "move" deposit money around, which (apparently) took some
special skills and was often mishandled such that the deposit got "lost".

I believe that now, they can change the reservation, but again, I'll bet
there are skill levels involved to make sure it all works out and the
WDTC CSR's are not of the quality they used to be!
