I have an idea...

Seriously, I never thought it to be too big of a pain because I never
stayed where they stayed. We were at Port Orleans French Quarter one
year in January, and the internet cable was missing from our room. I
stopped by the front desk to get one, and the cm told me why it was
missing. It seems the resort had removed every one of them from all the
rooms during Pop Warner, because there were too many kids in the past
getting online, charging it to the room, and then the adults saying they
wouldn't pay for the charges because they were unauthorized.

Hmm, sushi, books, liquor, why go anywhere else?

But it's only a mile wide, so it's not like it costs you any real time.

The good thing about rural AL and GA small towns is that they are small.
Most of them will lower the speed limit for just a few miles, some not
at all. In fact, there are two small towns we go through on the way to
Destin (if we take the Mid Bay route) that don't lower the 55mph limit
at all, but I think they should because the road is narrow and there are
dozens of houses, a gas station, Dollar General, etc. My guess is the
town is so small, it doesn't even have its own police force and therefor
doesn't worry about the speed limit since there's no way to make a
profit on it.

I believe that was "Andalasia". The town in Alabama is actually
"Adnalusia" (I misspelled it the first time).

A car with a speedometer scaled in tenths of a mile :-) (DAMMIT!)

Yeah, Kean caught that, too. Obviously just another typo. Or is it? ;-)
