We've had problems sitting down in Yakitori House, too. Sometimes we've
had to wait a couple of minutes.

Only other place I've had an issue was in the America pavilion during a
huge rainstorm.

Amen. I can't understand how the parks managed to stay in business,
back in the 70's and 80's. Everything was open, park hours were long,
and the gift shops had unique and varied merchandise. The bathrooms and
grounds were spectacularly clean. And the parks weren't packed!

If they had that level of service today, Disney corporate would scream
they're going broke and every VP would be fired.

Hey, at least they are creating some really cool new attractions and
shows. After 9-11, the cutbacks we see today were all there, plus the
new stuff was often really lame.

He's a moderator at the Disboards. At least, he used to be. They may
have tired of him, by now.

No, what I mean is, if we don't want people who aren't using tables for
eating to be occupying them, then we need to define that. What defines
an appropriate use? If we get a bag of fries and a soda to split, is
that enough to warrant using a table for 10 minutes? 15? Or not at
all? What if only one person in the party is eating, can other sit at
the table? I'm not trying to be facetious or argumentative here. These
are reall issues that have to be addressed...unless...we add more tables!

I think you are exaggerating. I doubt you'd even have to increase the
total number of tables at all - just open the restaurants that are
closed, closed seasonally, or have had their hours shorted.

Yeah, I think we are on the same page, but to not give people a place to
sit and rest just because we want to reserve tables for guest paying for
food is ridiculous.

I think that even without the dining plan, if restaurants were closed
and hours for them shortened, we'd have had the same situation back then.

No problems. We're just having a friendly discussion with some slight
differences in opinion as far as I see it. :-)

Like Amanda said, he left our "cesspool" and went over the DIS. I also
found him on a forum called DBSTalk.com. It's a great place to discuss
satellite TV services, but he hangs out in the OT forum that is all
about TV shows.
