From: www.ttdown.com on 20 Feb 2007 21:18 Ray, I know you make your commission from Princess and don't want to alienate them, however, it is really the customer booking that is ultimately paying your commission. If agents like you were to make Princess aware that this change is unfair, maybe it would have a greater impact on the corporarte thinking. I understand their feeling that a few people abuse the access, but, $75.00 for a 7 day crusie, and $100 for an 8-20 day cruise is not a fair equation. The 16 day cruise I am going on gets $25.00 more credit for 9 additional days. We are in fact a group of 59 passengers that does cruises once every year or so. I know our agent will be looking at other cruise lines for our next cruise. I have 19 cruises so far with Princess. This will be our 20th. I do have amenities through RCCL and will probably be looking more at their itineraries. I will also be looking for atravel agent who puts my interests ahead of their own. I don't think too many will be impressed by your invocation of the RCCL repeater amenities, or their itineraries. Princess has better repeater amenities and generally better itineraries. Neither is an RCCL strong point. Where RCCL is strong is their latest ships, the design and features on the Voyager and Ultra Voyager class ships which are better than the latest Princess ships. -- Charles

The larger Princess ships do nothing more than add lot more passengers.

The only place we found it to be crowded was the pool areas. It also has the International Cafe that the other Princess ships don't have. Lots of good things to be said about Princesses newest and biggest ship!! sue

I was certainly not trying to impress anyone, and certainly wouldn't care if it impressed or did not impress you. The issue, which I fully understand you would not get, is integrity.
